Shortly after I had begun painting the lighting
started to change, as the clouds which had
created a cool overcast started to break apart,
allowing the warmth of the sun to spill in over
the ground at differing intervals.
Anyways, I stuck to my original idea all the way
through and was able to keep the harmonious whole
while waiting for the clouds to reconnect and help to
create cool lighting.
I love this painting - so simple and beautifully done! I also really love seeing your work from Lost Maples - you caught the essence of the place and the season. (BTW - the comment box is missing for that post.) Great work here.
