Still Life update:9.10.9
Still Life update!!:9.9.9
Well, I have found that the subject matter
of still life lends itself quite well to
practicing certain things that are less
understood. Hopefully, they won't move
and shift like the figure, or even undergo
drastic changes like a landscape. David
Leffel had said something along the lines
of "you are limited by what you least
understand", and I totally agree. I'm
starting to see my chain links that need
to be strengthened.

stuff
Well, I had known that the AVAA session would be canceled yet
I still went to paint something. This is kind of an inside
joke regarding subject matter.(It is supposed to be a dumpster).
P.S.-Fuck, I'm going to do some mentally draining exercises on
measurements and proportions because I'm tired of continually
failing in that aspect of art creation.

Figure painting update
Here are two paintings that I created on monday night,
the left being from a 30min pose and the other from
a 20 min. The 20min is more successful than the one
created from an even longer pose which makes me happier
than not. I know a beautiful, completed painting can
be created in such a short pose because I've been
fortunate to watch one being created. So, I have
something to aim for.
